the first in a short series...about bubbles... obviously!

Gosh, sometimes I feel like I start every blog post with, “Gee, its been a while…”

I know - it’s shocking! And every time I plan to be more consistent with the posts, just like with the exercise and the awesomely healthy eating,  I seem to sneak a few weeks of silence, accompanied by chocolate cake, and little to no bodily movement! It’s positively shameful. But I hope you can relate.

Anyhoo, in the hope that anyone reading this is equally as busy as I am; I will plod along and post something anyway. Lets hope that it’s worth the wait.

I find that life is full of strange coincidences. Sometimes I am not sure whether they are actual coincidences, or just awesome thoughts that I retrospectively turn into something more exciting, hoping to validate my actions (or in this case, lack of actions). Case in point, recently, I was given a case of bubbly ranging from the standard stuff to some really special bottles – I said I would blog about the consumption of these treasures! Don’t worry, I forewarned the donor that only 5 people read my blog, and two of them were in fact in the room. She laughed (hopefully with some faith I was downplaying things) but almost certainly with regret.

In any case, as I am the least likely person in the world to turn down free bubbly, I took the case with gratitude and off I went (and walked, more briskly than usual, to my car).
So why is this a coincidence? The day prior, I was beating myself up about how I had not blogged in ages, and wondering what to talk about next? Enter, a case of bubbly for a blog with a related title. Coincidence? I hope so.

So here they are, standing to attention:
my precious - image, my own

Now, let me just say that I know more than a handful of people who often downplay JC Le Roux, because they are most familiar with the mass market sweet product Le Domaine. I too, intensely dislike the sweet kind. In fact, I always prefer Brut, what-ever the brand, whomever the maker - I try to remain open minded ;)
I decided to start off the weekend with the ones I knew – playing it safe while simultaneously holding back the big guns.
On Friday, my dearest friend Annie, joined me in popping the Brut to celebrate the end of her first round of exams. The Brut is dry, crisp and tantalising and I must add, this is often my go-to weekend celebratory beverage. It’s completely underrated and I have found, in the past, when people first see it, they are a little weary, but once the delicious bubbles hit their lips, most of the sceptics are converted.
All in all, it was no surprise that we thoroughly enjoyed this simple yet sophisticated sipping MCC.
On Saturday I was fortunate enough to attend the most divine kitchen tea and hens party. The daytime affair was blessed with copious bottles of bubbly. So while popping home to get dressed and get a lift to Beefcakes, I opened the bottom of the dry range, Sauvignon Blanc.

I must say, it’s not my favourite, but when you are already a few bottles of bubbly down, every kind has its place. The Sauvignon Blanc is not as sophisticated as the Brut, but then again, it’s priced to move.
If you are not a big bubbly drinker, the SB would suffice – I usually get it when adding some fresh OJ for a bubbly breakfast or when there are numerous other drinks in the mix and it seems shameful to open a more precious bottle.
Speaking of which…. I am eager to try the rest the family – with the familiar members down, I cant wait see what the lesser known and rarer varieties offer. Watch this space (I promise it won’t take as long as last time)

Tapas Feast

In celebration of the daily tradition we started while in Spain, we hosted a Tapas soiree at the apartment on Women’s Day. Mother Nature was clearly in a fantastic mood, as the weather was gorgeous and the company was even better. Accompanied by crisp white wine, we enjoyed the following home-made tapas – let me know if you would like the any of the recipes and I will mail them with pleasure:
-       Toasted bread with Aubergine & Red pepper dip
-       Garlic & Tomato brushed bread
-       Patatas Bravas with garlic aioli
-       Battered courgettes
-       Paprika toasted almonds
-       Croquettes
-       Dusted squid
-       Lemon grilled mushrooms
-       Serrano wrapped asparagus
-       Honey glazed chorizo
-       Orange & lemon zest marinated olives

Of Course, we discovered all of these tasty nibbles while in Spain – the first stop being Barcelona. We arrived in this thrilling city rather late at night and feeling a tad bit grumpy, having to haul ass and luggage half way across the city, not certain of just how far down La Rambla our apartment was. When we finally met up with Mano, the owner, and settled into the authentic space in the Gothic District, excitement mounted at the thought of what the next few days would bring.

One of the most mouth-watering moments in Barcelona had to be the La Rambla Food Market. You really have to see, smell and taste it to believe it. It’s a sensory overload. From the stacked fruit stands at the front, to the live seafood in the middle, and the hanging cured meats and overflowing cheese shelves all around, a foodie can get all kinds of lost down this rabbit hole.

Seafood at the market - Image, my own

My favourites were the cones of cured meat (new favourite = Serrano Ham); fresh fruit smoothies and a warm crepe dripping in Nutella (which I am sure is more of a French Tradition, but the sultry Spanish man who served it gave it some Barcelona flair).

No trip to this expansive city would be complete without a bird’s eye view of absolutely everything. Thankfully, the cable car from Barcelona Port to Montjuic offers exactly that. After admiring the skyline over one of many glasses of Sangria, we took a short bus ride down to the Poble Espanyol, a re-created Spanish town, taking all of the best and most notable architectural features of the country into account.

Aside from the cuisine, architecture and art (the Picasso Museum is a must-see, as is the Dali Museum, just a two hour train ride out of the city) Barcelona’s beach is also pretty awesome, thanks to the warm Mediterranean water!

My favourite part of the city has to be the posh side, Gracia, where we stayed on our way back home – with the high street shops (so much time spent in Zara!) and the gorgeous people strutting their Haute Couture through the streets, if I was to go back, and I so hope I will, I will spend some more time in this neck of the woods, for it was also where we had the largest and most authentic tapas feast and learnt about all the tasty morsels we served on Women’s Day.

To attempt to sum up Barcelona in a few short highlights is not an easy feat, but if I absolutely had to, I would say:

Highlights:
La Rambla Food Market
Gracia shopping district
Day trip to the Dali Museum in Figures
Walking the vibrant streets at night

But I could have done without:
Those annoying men on La Rambla, trying to sell you crap you don’t need, making that terrible duck sound with some contraption in their mouths - I have since learned they are scam artists attempting to distract tourists in order to pick their pockets! Totes assholes!

But all in all, the most magical city, where a week is two short, but year would never be enough!
If you ever get the opportunity, go go GO!

Day five (or is it six?)

New leaf still successfully overturned, minus the following tiny indiscretions:
  • The most sumptuous three-course meal at Don Pedro’s on Wednesday night – totally worth it. I highly recommend this brilliant little spot for a romantic dinner or a great meal with mates.
  • A Chicken Burger at Quiz Night at Fireman’s while finishing a disappointing 13th out of 21 groups. Sad face.
  • Too much wine (but I would be setting myself up for failure if I thought the new leaf was wine proof) – perhaps the wine and the 13th place are inextricably linked. Hmmmm.

Otherwise the week has been filled with one or two gym visits, tons of stairs at the office (which I like to see as mini workouts) and some great home–made healthy meals. I tried out Quinoa for the first time and it was not gaggingly gross as I had expected. It was actually rather yummy – probably helped along by the 80:20 ratio of everything else to Quinoa. Steamed fish, chicken & zuchinni wraps and a few salads here and there rounded off the week. All and all it has not been a bad first week of “being better” (most of the time anyway).

And now that’s its 4:36am on Saturday and I have woken up from such a warm, cozy bed for no reason whatsoever, I thought perhaps it’s time I post something about my recent European Adventure. I think I’m ready to look at some photo’s without pining for Sangria and Tapa’s, so here goes…

We started off in Amsterdam and spent one wild weekend at St Christophers Hostel, a vibrant abode in the middle of the red light district and a short walk from Centraal Station. This place is simply the best – if you ever you are in Amsterdam, I suggest shacking up in the middle of the action. Especially when transport costs and the euro are not your friends.

Chris (the fiance) and I having a beer at the hostel - Image, my own

This was my second time in Amsterdam and equally as fun as the first. Beyond the obvious pass times in this liberal city, there are so many great sites, awesome museums, amazing restaurants, quaint architectural landmarks and hilariously funny people to keep you out of mischief. One such place is Vondelpark. I didn’t explore this green belt the first time around, so I was eager to see what one of the “top 10 things to do in Amsterdam in 48 hours” looked like. And I was pleasantly surprised.

I suppose all cities need an area for its inhabitants to jog, cycle and read under the trees, and as a city girl myself, I love a good bit of nature planted arm’s length from the concrete jungle. From an opera singer practicing in the park’s amphitheatre, to lovers on a bench, this park had it all and was a definite highlight of the weekend for me.

Our arrival at the park - Image, my own

Other highlights:
Cute Dutch blonde police officers (all in their early twenties and in uniform….)
The friendly people
A litre of cheese fondue

Could have done without:
The blisters from walking through every cobbled street of this amazing city

From Amsterdam, we jetted off to Barcelona…. But its 4:59am, and I need some sleep before the Super 15 Final, so I’ll save Barcelona for the next post.

It's called the present, because it's a gift :)

Its been too long. But I am back. And 100% committed to the new leaf I turned over today. The holiday from the holiday is over and I couldn’t be more excited. So, I am long overdue with some news and some snaps from Spain. And of course there have been tons of fabulous fun things since. But let me start with today…the here and the now.

After a mild state of depression when my holiday was over, I have decided to throw myself, head first, back into all the things that make me happy. These include event planning, cooking, and catching up with wonderful friends. Also on the list are running, gym, and making interesting and delicious healthy meals that make my heart and my waist band smile. More time in the kitchen and the gym, less time on the couch. That’s my August resolution.

I solemnly swear I am 100% committed to all of the above, but most importantly, to having the best time doing each and every item on my numerous lists! Otherwise, what’s the point?
There are so many awesomely exciting things on the horizon, and I want to soak up the fabulousness of each and every one. Hence a journey to rediscover all the wonderful ways to stay on top of the world, every single day!

The first little rule I have set is to make sure I live in the present - So, the theme of today’s post is, Today – lets call it, Day one:
It started with delicious warm oats for breakfast (yumo!) and one of my fave healthy lunches – Verjuice Chickpea Salad… I managed some work in the middle of course, but rounded off with a sunset promenade run – all in all, a fantastic day!
I thought I would share the easy peasy chickpea salad recipe, as it’s the quickest snack to make as well as being super healthy and delicious! I shared today’s lunch with the fiancé today and he even complimented its tastiness.

The below recipe makes enough for 2 people for work lunch (or say 6 people if it’s a side salad at a braai)

You will need:
1 x can of tinned chick peas
Red & yellow pepper (half of each)
Cherry Tomoates (about 6 if they are big, or some more if they are teeny tiny)
1/3 of a cucumber
Feta (I used one round disk of the plain low fat kind)
1/3 of a red onion
Handful of rocket (I like the wild one)
Dash of verjuice (call it a ¼ of a cup, but it’s totally up to you)
Salt & pepper to taste

Then all you have to do is:
Empty the can of chick peas into a colander and rinse thoroughly – you have to get that tinny-ness taste out of the mix. Then pour the rinsed chick peas into a bowl and dash with about a ¼ of a cup of Verjuice. If you don’t have any, simply use lemon or lime juice. You can throw some oil into the mix (e.g. avocado oil) if you want more of a Vinaigrette. I wanted to keep it super low fat, so opted out this time.
Finely chop the red onion, and then chop the rest of the fresh ingredients into salad size chunks for easy and ladylike consumption. Throw it all into the bowl and mix. Add in some loosely torn rocket and crumbled feta. Give it one more stir and then spoon into bowl / Tupperware for work.
I like to make it the night before because the Verjuice infuses into everything (and because I am super lazy in the morning).

I hope you can get some use out of this simple, tasty lunch time snack.
I hope to bring some more food ideas to the blog over the coming weeks, as I endeavour to make healthy food fabulous.
Have a fantastic week

get a move on...

Its been just over a month since I last posted anything... siss! I feel mortified!
So many amazingly fun things have happened and I have not taken a few moments to reflect on them! double siss!

Apologies to anyone who may have been looking out for a post (all 3 of you perhaps :)

I promise, before this week is out, I will write something about the amazingly, wonderful, warm, delicious, sexiness that is Spain :)

But now, off to dinner with some good friends at a new spot in Kloof Street, Jackal & Hyde. Ill let you know if its fab ;)

Adiós Amigos

I was undecided whether to blog a teeny weeny little goodbye post. It seemed a little, “Cheers biyatches, enjoy the cold, while I summer in Spain”. But having given it a second thought, I realised that the very reason I started writing was to remind myself, and others, how fortunate we all are. And getting to go away with your friends, experience new cultures and cuisine, and have a good old jol, is something almost everyone (reading this) gets to do every once and a while. So I hope that whether you are taking a break now or in the future, you have countless other reasons to celebrate!
I am not sure if I will write while I’m overseas, so I hope that over the next three weeks, everyone I know has something to make them smile. Be it a big glass of red wine and a great movie on the couch, or something more life-changing, I trust there will be many blessed moments in 21 days.
And if you can’t think of anything right now, have a look at this video – a friend sent it to me today, and it made me smile.
Have a safe and happy June & the start of July. Until we meet again. X

A little overdue, but better late than never.

This past weekend, my fiancé and I were blessed enough to celebrate our engagement with friends and family. Some important people were jet-setting when he popped the question, so we decided to plan an engagement brunch for a date when everyone could attend.
Over 50 bottles of bubbly later and we all survived the gorgeous day, with more than a few stories to tell.
If that was a taste of the love and laughter that fills a wedding, I cannot wait! Thanks to everyone who made it so special!

Life's too damn short

Last night I decided to make some important lists of things to remember for my overseas holiday… when the visas are done and the flights + accommodation are all paid for, the final thing every A-type personality does is make some more lists. Just to be sure.

I started to think back to my last overseas trip in October 2010 and of an experience that I will never forget, for all the wrong reasons!

Thanks to the French train staff strike, we were stranded in Paris for the day. We had been scheduled to take a train down to Nice, but the Parisians decided, on that day, it was time to show their dissatisfaction with the retirement age being raised.

This all happened 2 hours after my wallet was stolen on another train, traveling through Brussels.
Having lost a credit card and few Euros in the process, and filled with concern about whether we would have to pay for new trains, spend an extra night in Paris etc, I spent the entire day completely stressed out, and didn’t want to “waste” money on coffee, food, wine… I know, right? Me… not wanting to waste money one wine! How ridiculous. What can I say; I was young(er) and clearly insane!

What struck me last night was that I was given an entire extra 12 hours in Paris. Paris! The most amazing, thrilling, enchanting city! And I completely wasted it!

We had spent the first few days of our trip in Paris and they were magical. Then, a subconscious genie granted a wish I didn’t even know that I had, and we were given a small window of extra Paris-time which I squandered, waiting for the next leg of our trip to start. Concerned with what was to come, I totally missed the gift I had been given. Looking back, I cannot help but kick myself for how foolish that was!

Luckily, we live and we learn, so, I have decided that as I count down the days until my next trip, I outright refuse to waste a single second while I am in Amsterdam and Spain. From the moment I close my laptop next week Thursday, I am 100% committed to living in each and every moment that my vacation grants me! I am going to soak up every second, make the most of the up’s and the down’s and find joy in the inevitable delays that come with travel.

After all, you never know what amazing parallel opportunities arise from unexpected changes to “the plan”. Isn’t that usually when the most memorable moments are created?
I like to think so. x

They say it’s the little things..

Today, after some post-work shopping at the Waterfront, I was reminded of something small, yet awesome, that made me smile. After waiting near the Pick ‘n Pay lift for what felt likes ages, with shopping bags loaded around me like a mountain Sherpa, I was greeted by one of the staff in the lift, who offered me an empty trolley into which to load my belongings. His toothless grin smiled from ear to ear, and as he would have to follow me down to the basement to bring the trolley back up, his help was especially super! I gave him my last coins to say thanks. After the lift doors closed, I realised I had to put a fifty rand note into the parking machine and would get who-knows-how-many coins back… I swore under my breath!

Then, low and behold, the intelligent machine gave me back notes… real, live, crispy, South African notes (I hate coins btw!). A sign… firstly that technology is moving forward even in the pay-parking space. And secondly, that if I had held onto my coins because of something as silly as not wanting to end up with a wad of change, I would have done so in vain!

So, Yay all round!

Driving home in the dark and the rain, I thought back on how so many tiny things aggravated me in the day and how silly these things actually are! I poured myself a big glass of red vino when I got home, ran a hot bubble bath and enjoyed a massive amount of visual awesomeness on Pinterest, followed by a DIY mani, pedi, some light reading and a chocolate mousse!

Taking some time to chillax, and soaking up the little things, can make all the difference!
I hope there have been many little things that have made your day just as wonderful!

In the spirit of little things, I finished this teeny tiny DIY canvas last night - two little love birds.

TGI-Fabulous-Friday!

Wow, what a week. How can we be in the 6th month of 2012 already? This year is flying by. And with so many wonderful things to fill the time with, it’s not at all surprising.
This weekend promises nothing but excitement. A birthday dinner & drinks at Blake’s tonight, such a swanky watering hole always brings with it some fun surprises. And tomorrow, the fiancé and I are taking a drive up the N2 to view three out-of-town wedding venues. I cannot wait! 3 weeks of online searches and 2 and a half weeks of some serious analyses of all of the pro’s, con’s and extra points for all round fabulousness… and we have the top 3 out-of-town locations. Let’s hope they are as wonderful as they appear online.
Who knows, maybe if we find “the one”, we can pop the magnum bottle of Moet the lovely team at my office gave us to say congrats…
Any super venue suggestions welcome, and encouraged ;)

Trinket DIY…

So, I decided to get busy with some cute DIY items for the French themed engagement party… after a mammoth bunting session on Sunday with Joey & Annie, I have decorated some mason jars and covered every available surface in chalk board paint.
I also found these sweet love birds on Saturday – they have found a new home in my grey bird cage….
My new favourite way to spend these chilly winter evenings is definitely accompanied by a big glass of red wine and some rewarding crafts… who knew?
PS Champagne, I have not deserted you, I am saving you for the 9th ;)

Its pre-pay-day, what is a girl to do?

Bake! Well that’s what I decided to fill my please-let-me-get-that-midnight-sms evening with.

There is something special about the hours before you get paid. I, being overly cautious when it comes to debt, don’t like to dip into next month’s money when it isn’t quite mine yet. So I decided that tonight, I would occupy myself in my kitchen, instead of out on the town. And the timing could not have been better – inspired after a delicious Mount Nelson High Tea yesterday, and armed with a red velvet cupcake recipe from one of my most talented friends, as well as always dreaming of making my own sumptuous crimson petit fours – all the stars were aligned.

I popped out during lunch to get all the ingredients, including a new mixer (ok, so I know I said I am pre-pay-day, but a new mixer is an investment, especially if I stick to my guns and become a serious baker). The ingredients room-temperaturised themselves in my boot while my afternoon of emails, powerpoint and excel flew by, and when I arrived home at 5:30pm, the adventure began.

I, for the first time in my entire life, followed the recipe like a bomb instruction manual, not leaving anything to chance. I already had my bad baking luck and temperamental oven to contend with, why make matters worse? As my eggs came straight from the fridge (apparently a baking no-no), they required some downtime on my kitchen counter, so I started on the icing. After consuming enough of it to send most people into a diabetic coma, I refrigerated the rest, thoroughly cleaned all the utensils, and started on the cake mix.

Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. Thanks Phil Dunphy.

Resting..... Image: My Own

In the end, after giving the fiancé the bowel, the mixing thingies (what is the real name?) and every red velvet dipped utensil to lick, I watched as my pretties rose in the oven. They say a watched cake never rises. Bullshit! I watched those mofo’s like they were my babies on their first date. And they made me proud!
And when the say the proof of the pudding is in the eating, they were not kidding!
There were 24, 19 still remain! I fully plan to be on single digits by tomorrow (with help from a dinner at my good friend, Lo).

All in all, a great pre-pay-day tradition - Bake something sumptuous, devour as much as you can, and wake up with (hopefully) a new month’s salary in your account. I can so do this 12 times a year!

Face masks can be fabulous.

All this planning has given me the most annoying case of insomnia. Every morning this week, I have woken up at precisely 2am, my mind racing with several simultaneous thoughts. I am generally awake till just after 5am, which, coincidentally is an hour before I should be getting up for gym. I stress “should” because it has been unsuccessful!
Finally, on this, the 4th morning in a row of requiring 3 cups of coffee to wake up, I decided I am going to treat myself to a Jamie-night. Hot bubble bath, red wine, take-out, my book and all the Pinterest possibilities that a few hours can bring… it’s safe it use your iPad in the bath, right? if my next post is about “never using you iPad in the bath”, then assume I was wrong ;)

Must-have - Source: Pinterest

Soon to be Bon Voyage.

tasty treats = inspiration. source: pinterest

Having just returned from high tea at the Mount Nelson (Thanks BBC) and feeling suitably inspired, I thought I would post some more reasons to smile. There is something about eating the tiniest versions of the tastiest treats, while sipping on some bubbles, that inspires creativity.

Engagement party plans are underway, thanks to the amazing talents of my closest friends… and the date is set. The best part about the planning is that I have something to keep my mind off our impending trip to Europe – if I wasn’t planning a party, I would be pinning bikinis and white sandy beaches...

In 3 weeks, the fiancé and I, and four fab friends will be jetting off to the Netherlands and Spain. Having seen France and Italy in 2010, we decided it was high time to spend a few weeks in Spain over their summer. Two years of planning and saving, and off we go… If I come back with a tan, while everyone is covered from neck to toe in warm winter attire, it will be the first time I have ever been a shade darker than almost everyone I know.

The flights and accommodation are booked, and we had a final “meeting” last night to discuss the (very important) details - what to pack, and what to get done before D-day.
Needless to say - thoroughly excited!

You’re gorgeous, can I pin you?

Wow! Getting engaged is crazy! So many people are so wonderfully excited. I cannot begin to thank everyone enough for all the well-wishes, bottles of bubbly (you know me so well), and genuine support! We are truly blessed!
Wedding plans have begun in a flurry! Don’t want to overwhelm the fiancé, but venues, fabrics, flowers and photographers have sprinted to the top of my favourite pinterest searches! (If you are reading this and you have some pearls of wisdom, please share, I will be eternally grateful)
The search has only just begun – it has now become my life’s mission to create a memorable wedding on a less-than-fabulous budget. Challenge accepted.
“Have you set a date?” Almost everyone asks…  Well, realistically, towards the end of next year. There are some fantastic plans for 2012 that require my attention, my heart, and the dollar dollar bill… so 2013 it is! More time to plan, and more time to save. Sometimes being fabulous equals delayed gratification, or so I tell myself…
But in an attempt to give myself something to plan (planning is to Jamie what crack was to Whitney .. *sorry*) we shall host an engagement soirée.  French patisserie-themed with enough macarons to last a lifetime (Thanks Jo)… in just about 3 weeks, my mother’s house in the burbs will be overtaken by coral & white polka dot navy bunting, croissants, carpaccio, and cupcakes. I’m keeping my mind off the wedding with engagement party planning! It’s perfect!
PS no jeans! ;)
Soon-to-be-bunting. Image, my own.

She said yes, of course.

It’s Monday… what an amazing weekend… but before I get to that, my first few posts need to be fairly retrospective. As I said, so many fabulous things happened last week, I need to get them down so that I can move into real time.
Last weekend, I spent a fairy-tale weekend in Franschhoek, my favourite weekend getaway spot. My man and I were invited to a 5-star escape, with all the spoiling’s. A gorgeous hotel room at Mont Rochelle, and just about all the food and bubbly two people can consume in a lifetime. After a 4-course meal at Reuben’s on Friday and a sumptuous cheese soufflé at Mange Tout for brekkie on Saturday, we headed to the Country Kitchen for a wine tasting. This was followed by a stroll down to the “love tree” (a name we gave the large tree at the Mont Rochelle picnic site a few years back on our first weekend in Franschhoek). Overlooking the gorgeous dam, my man popped the question…perfect place, perfect moment, perfect man. so in love!

its my first time, will it hurt?

There is something daunting about writing your first blog post ever (and I am sure half of the blogs ever written started off with that same sentence… so originality may be an issue here… hmmm…) But I registered this blog title more than a week ago and so many fabulous things have already happened, if I don’t start now, I fear I will miss out on documenting them. And that was the aim of starting a blog in the first place. So here goes…
I wanted mychampagneproblems to be about all of the things that make life such a treat! An ode to the lack of real problems most of us actually face, when compared to the truly scary things (in an attempt to keep this light-hearted, insert your own worst fears, and tragic stories here). Sure, we are stressed, busy, time-starved workaholics, and we are all trying to loose 5kg’s and would love it if that little crease in the forehead wasn’t so glaringly obvious. But those are not problems.
In truth, I feel genuinely blessed and a little spoilt, almost daily. I have the most amazing man in my life, the best friends, a delightful family, amazing career and gorgeous (albeit tiny) home… I have so many reasons to celebrate. And celebrate I do, almost every day ;)
To be honest, I also just love love love champagne. It’s the tastiest treat and always inspires fabulousness… and as I once told a close friend, Life is too short not to be fabulous!
I will try to keep things light-hearted and lovely, always. And I hope that at the end of every post, I am reminded of how fortunate I am! And if anyone ever reads this, I hope it does the same for you.
Love,
Jamie x
